The link above is to our brochure on our "Faces of..."Desk Calendar Series. The 2003 calendar depicted is The Faces of Virology. It was done for Roche's Valcyte, a branded CMV Retinitis drug. Physician reception has been excellent for three basic reasons.

First, the cover is a nostalgic piece that creatively reminds the physician who were the trailblazers in their therapeutic category. The cover is printed on heavy glossy stock. Many physicians have the cover framed and hung in their offices. 

Second, the content is what makes the calendar a keeper. Each month lists the important conferences and trade shows in the selected therapeutic category. In addition, important historic events are listed and some events are depicted graphically.

Finally, every month is a branding opportunity. The right side of each month is used for your branding message. In the attached sample, Roche used several months to display a simple eye test commonly used to diagnose CMV Retinitis, as well as photos showing disease progression.

I realize that calendars rarely generate much interest from the detail reps and their physicians, however the "Faces of..." Desk Calendar is the exception.
