Founded in 1943, the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) is the oldest and largest organization representing the massage therapy profession. Members of AMTA are licensed and non-licensed massage therapists working within wellness centers, spas, health and fitness clubs, chiropractic and massage therapy offices. 89% of members are at a home address.
